How to brush your teeth
Share
We do it on autopilot. Twice a day. A quick back and forth, left-right, done. But that's exactly where it goes wrong.
Many people brush horizontally. It feels efficient, but it isn't. In fact, you can do more harm than good.
Horizontal brushing is not the right way
“Many people brush horizontally. That removes little and sometimes even pushes plaque in the wrong direction. Small circles are more efficient and much gentler on your mouth.” According to dentist Daniëlle Verhaeg.
Horizontal brushing pushes plaque along your teeth and towards your gums. Small, gentle circles do the opposite: they lift away dirt, massage your gums, and are softer on your mouth.
How should you brush your teeth?
The solution is simple. No new routine, no extra time. Just a different movement.
Brush slower. In circles. With attention.
Combine that with a ReBloom toothpaste and you'll feel the difference immediately:
- cleaner feeling
- fresher breath
- less tension in your jaw
Self-care isn't about doing more, but about doing better. Even, or especially, with something as simple as brushing your teeth.
